Ravne na Koroškem gained a new sport facility in 2004 - an outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool, which can also be used as the municipal public swimming pool. Both future concepts of use were followed throughout the construction process. The investment was challenging in many ways, both in terms of construction itself and from the organisational and financial point of view. The first successful test run was carried out in 2004.

The water temperature is kept at 26-28 °C. The dome covering is used in the winter so the successful local swimming club Fužinar can train and hold competitions.
